2007 Design Awards Recipients

The AIA Chesapeake Bay Chapter is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2007 Design Awards Program. Through this program, the AIA Chesapeake Bay Chapter recognizes excellence in architecture in the Chesapeake Bay region. The program promotes the value of good design and encourages members to pursue excellence through their work and through service to the public. The program is open to all AIA Chesapeake Bay Chapter members. New structures, additions, renovations, and unbuilt projects completed after January 1, 2002, were eligible for consideration this year. Three levels of award were given: Honor, Merit, and Citation, of which Honor is the highest distinction.

This year's jury was comprised of members from the AIA Hampton Chapter in Southeast Virginia. The jury included Steven Wright, Rob Reis, and Thomas Beverly and took place this past November in Norfolk, Virginia.
